For nearly 30 years, Roger has been serving clients with his knowledge, experience, and skill in comprehensive financial planning, 401(k) rollovers, trusts, endowments, and retirement plans. He joined the firm in 1998 and became a board member in 2013. Focusing on the importance of teaching and coaching his clients has been key to building trusted relationships with them.
Roger earned a B.S. in Finance from Bradley University, where he played baseball and has since been inducted into the Bradley University Sports Hall of Fame. He played professional baseball for seven years, both in the minor leagues and for the Oakland Athletics. He also studied at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Founder of the Smithberg Group at Noyes. Roger and his wife, Mary Kay, raised three children. He was born in and still resides in Elgin, Illinois.
