L. H. Bayley leads the firm and is recognized for his distinguished contributions to philanthropy. He began his career with Noyes in 1958.
L.H. is a long-respected community leader, philanthropist and businessman. Professional achievements include election to the RESEARCH Advisor Hall of Fame in 1993, recognition as Registered Representative Top Ten Outstanding Advisor of the Year (1995) and Chicago Wholesaler Association Stockbroker of the Year (1985).
L.H. began his career at David A. Noyes & Company in 1958 and has served as Chairman of the Board since 1978. He is a former Board Member of both the NASD National Arbitration Board and the NASD Board of Governors.
In 1994, Indiana Governor Evan Bayh bestowed the Sagamore of the Wabash Award to L.H. for his contributions to the community, state, and profession. L.H. and his wife, Dianne, received the Distinguished Hoosier Award from Indiana Governor Frank O’Bannon in 2001. L.H. received the Association of Fundraising Professionals Indiana Chapter 2001 Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year Award and 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award. He has volunteered for decades for both the Catholic Archdiocese of Indianapolis and the St. Vincent Foundation, both of which awarded Dianne and him their highest volunteer awards. The Archdiocese awarded them the Spirit of Service Award, and St. Vincent awarded L.H. and Dianne the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Award. L.H. was a Captain in the U.S. Army and served in the NATO Air Defense Division.
L.H. earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois and completed graduate work at Northwestern University. L.H. and his wife, Dianne, raised three children and reside in Carmel, Indiana. He also has four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
